Our Tools for Getting Things Done (GTD)

Product Release Update
We have recently provided an update to TPAssist 2007 and TPAssistCapture (Download the updates here).
TPAssist 2007 version 1.7 is a maintenance update. The update addresses two areas. Firstly the update includes a new licensing capability that works with Vista 64 and Windows 7. And secondly, version 1.7 is enable for Mindjet® MindManager® 9.
TPAssistCapture 1.2.5 is enabled for MindManager 9.
NOTE - If you are using Windows XP or Vista (32 or 64bit), please check this blog before upgrading to MindManager 9.
Our plans for TPAssist 2007 version 1.8 may be delayed but we are still committed. The update will focus heavily on reducing drag with your GTD system.
Please help us shape this next update by participating in our new features survey.
Our next major update, version 2.0, is some way off at this stage. Our plans with 2.0 is to overhaul the interface.

We have updated TPAssist 2007 and TPAssistCapture. These updates are version 1.6.9 and 1.2.4 respectively.
This update addresses the execution issues with Windows 64bit operating systems. We are still working with our e-commerce partner to resolve the Licensing Wizard issue, so please continue to contact us directly when activating your licenses on 64bit Windows. Otherwise, you should see no issues with TPAssist on either 32bit or 64bit machines.

Did you know you can use your TPAssist 2007 license on all of your workstations. TPAssist 2007 is licensed to the individual and not the computer. The license is linked to your "Journal TAG".

MindManager 8.1
For users of TPAssist 2007:
If you are using MindManager 6 or 7, there is no issue.
If you are using MindManager 8, you should consider the following before updating your copy of MindManager.
- If you are NOT using the Outlook Integrated Linkage Module, there is no issue, you can upgrade to service pack 1 immediately.
- If you are using the Outlook Integrated Linkage Module (OLIM) you must wait for the next update for TPAssist 2007. This is because TPAssist 2007 is compiled against specific versions of MindManager.
Finally, there is no impact on any of our TPAssistCapture components with relation to MindManager 8.1.

Product Release Update
In 2008 we released four minor updates, the latest of which, version 1.5, focused on Mindjet Connect interoperability and also working with financial information with-in your maps.
Our first update for this year, version 1.6, will takes us back to our roots. It will focus on bringing you tools that help you be more productive and fulfilled.
This will include, but is not limited to, making TPAssist a must-have for MindManager users following David Allen's Getting Things Done systematic approach to productivity and happiness (REF: http://www.davidco.com/).

We aim to have 1.6 out to you in the coming months. A key part of that process as always is your feedback: in that regard, the time is now to get back to us with functionality you'd like improved or added.

A maintenance update, version 1.5.15, of TPAssist 2007 For Mindjet® MindManager® has been made available to facilitate this significant Mindjet update.
To apply our update, install MindManager® 8 first, then just download and install the latest TPAssist 2007 download.
You can download the update here, remember to close MindManager before applying the update (and Outlook if you are using the Outlook integration).

TPAssist Tips: Setting Task "Work" (Effort)
Did you know the ability to capture "Work" or effort as part of the new Financial Capability is enabled by default when you turn-on Financial Capabilities. This capability will automatically assume "Work" is the same as the current duration of the task. You can customise the work of a topic quite simply by using the TPAssist Journal tab and then clicking on the value next to Work. You can revert back to the automated association to duration by double-clicking on the topic.

NEWSLETTER - TPAssist 2007 v1.3 Released
TPAssist 2007 V1.3 Released
TPAssist 2007 version .1 3 is now available for download. This is possibly the most significant update since TPAssist 2007 was launched in September last year. This update draws on knowledge gained from case studies and feedback from our growing communicate of subscribers.
The update includes a number of new features as well as improvement in some key areas. The improvements include additional control over automated tree roll-up as well as rationalisation of the interface, including updates to the Journal Tab, Topic Tab and Document Tab. The new features include greater control over combining research alongside task topics, richer Task Summary outputs, as well as categories and time support in the integration with Microsoft Outlook making TPAssist a great companion for tools like GDT Outlook Add-in.

In order to ensure the timely release of TPAssist 2007 v1.3, attention has been drawn away from the next phase of our mind mapping training content. In December we released our Life Management training and template mind maps. Over the coming weeks we will be putting the final touches on our work place offering. This offering, known as TPAssist "Dashboard" is related to workplace based task and project management through the use of visualization, specifically mind mapping.

All we ask is that we can use a more generic version of these maps as an example in our online web seminars. All your company and personal specifics will be removed for the web seminars.
